Specialty vehicles
Bigger and more awkward than a car, and quoted accordingly. These are handled as a conversation rather than a fixed package.
RVs and motorcycles are handled as a conversation rather than a standard booking. They are different sizes, different surfaces and different amounts of time, so there is no useful flat price and no honest way to slot them into a normal appointment.
Tell us what you have and where it is stored, send a couple of photos, and we will give you a real number and a realistic date.
Four things, and a photo usually answers all of them. What the vehicle is and roughly how big, where it is stored, what condition it is in, and whether it has spent time anywhere corrosive. Size and access drive the time more than anything else does.
A cruiser and a Class C motorhome are different jobs entirely. Length and height drive both the time and the access.
Driveway, storage lot, marina or yard. We need safe access and room to work around it, and it is better to establish that on the phone than on the day.
A vehicle that has sat for a season is a different job to one used last week. Photos tell us more than a description does.
On a motorhome this matters more than anything else. A roof and a full-height flank change what the surface needs and how long it takes.
Usually one of three reasons. It is coming out of storage, it is going up for sale, or it is at the start or the end of a season of use. Condition moves the price on these more than on a car, because buyers read dirt as neglect.
Anything that has sat for a season collects dust, mildew and whatever settled on it. Getting it done before the first trip is the usual pattern.
Condition moves the price on recreational vehicles more than on cars, because buyers read a dirty motorhome as a neglected one.
Salt and sun do real damage over a season, and dealing with it before it sits over winter is easier than dealing with it afterwards.
A motorhome and a cruiser have nothing in common except not being a sedan.
Any flat price we published would be wrong for most of the vehicles it covered, so we quote these one at a time.
Our work
Every pair below is one car, photographed at the same angle before we started and after we finished. Drag the handle across any of them to see the change. Nothing is staged, retouched or shot in a studio, and each one links through to what was actually wrong with that vehicle.

Call or text a photo. We tell you what the job involves, what it will take and roughly what it costs, before anyone commits to anything. Then we agree a date with enough notice to plan it properly, because these are not same-week bookings.
A couple of pictures in daylight tells us more than a five-minute description. Text is usually fastest.
What can be done, roughly how long, and what it costs. If it is not something we should take on, we will say so rather than take the booking.
These are scheduled around the standard work rather than dropped into a same-week slot, so expect to book ahead.
There is no price list on this page on purpose, because any flat figure would be wrong for most of the vehicles it covered. These are not same-week bookings. And some jobs are outside what a mobile setup can sensibly do, in which case we tell you.
Questions
These are the questions that come up on the phone most often about specialty vehicles, answered the way we would answer them if you called. If yours is not here, ring the number at the top and ask. We would rather tell you now than have you find out on the day.
These are quoted individually. An RV is several times the surface area of a car and the access is completely different, so it is scheduled and priced on its own rather than fitted into a standard slot. Send photos and rough dimensions and we can give you a real number rather than a range.
Yes, quoted per bike. They are small but detailed work, with far more intricate surfaces per square foot than a car, so time rather than size drives the price. Chrome, spokes and engine cases are all hand work, and none of it can be rushed with a machine.
Because it would be wrong for most people reading it. These vehicles vary by a factor of several in size and condition, and a published figure would mean quoting one number and charging another. A short phone call gets you an accurate answer.
Usually, provided we have safe access and room to work. Some facilities have their own rules about contractors, so it is worth checking with them before you book. We also need to park close enough to reach the vehicle with our own equipment, which is the detail that catches people out more often than the access rules do.
Booking, payment and bad-weather questions are answered in the full FAQ. Anything specific to your vehicle, ask us directly and we will tell you whether this is the service you actually need.
These are the services customers most often add to this one, usually because the same appointment can cover both and the second costs less in time than booking it separately later. Each one is priced on its own, and we will tell you if adding it is not worth doing.
Anywhere inside the Houston metro, at your home or your office, because the whole setup travels. Pricing is by vehicle size rather than distance, so an address out toward the edge of the radius costs the same as one downtown. Pick your area below for what we see there.
Across the Houston metro. Same price everywhere inside the service area, because we charge by vehicle rather than by distance.
Call or send a photo and we will tell you what it takes and when we can do it.
