Interior deep clean on a Nissan Rogue
Driver footwell, mat and console on a family SUV.
Interior detail
Seats, carpets, mats and glass, deep cleaned where the car is parked. One flat price with no vehicle-size surcharge.
An interior detail is the whole cabin done properly: seats, carpets, mats, glass and every hard surface, at one flat price regardless of what we find when we open the door.
It is the service most people actually want. The outside of a car gets rained on and looks fine again. The inside only ever gets worse, and it is the part you sit in every day.
Every surface inside the car. Seats, carpets and mats, the dashboard, console and door panels, cup holders and vents, all the interior glass, and the trunk or cargo area. One flat price whatever the vehicle, with no size surcharge for a three-row SUV over a sedan.
Vacuumed thoroughly, including under the seats and along the rails where the vacuum in a coin-op wash never reaches. Mats come out and get cleaned separately rather than being vacuumed in place.
Wiped down properly, including the seams and the switch surrounds where dust packs in. Houston heat makes plastics off-gas, which is what leaves that dull film on everything.
The two places every quick clean skips. Cup holders because they are awkward, vents because they need a brush rather than a cloth.
Windshield, side glass, mirrors and the rear screen. Interior glass is what causes glare when you drive into low sun, and it is almost always dirtier than people think.
Included, not an extra. It is the part of the interior that most cleans never touch, so grit works into the liner and stays there.
Usually one of four things. The carpet has gone a different color in the footwells, it smells when the car has been shut up, there are marks you have stopped noticing, or you are handing the car back and want it to show properly.
That is ground-in dirt rather than dirt sitting on top. A vacuum lifts loose debris. Getting the color back needs agitation and extraction.
Warm weather and a closed car brings out whatever is in the fabric. If it is noticeable on opening the door, it is in the material, not the air.
Most people stop noticing their own interior after a few months. A useful test is whether you would be comfortable with a passenger in the back seat.
Interior condition moves a private sale price more than almost anything else, and it is the cheapest thing on the car to fix.
The outside gets rained on and looks fine again. The inside only ever gets worse.
It is also the part you sit in every day, which is why the interior is the service most people actually want once they think about it.
Our work
Every pair below is one car, photographed at the same angle before we started and after we finished. Drag the handle across any of them to see the change. Nothing is staged, retouched or shot in a studio, and each one links through to what was actually wrong with that vehicle.

Loose debris out, carpet vacuumed and lifted.
Everything loose comes out first. Then a full vacuum working the seams before the open areas, a deep clean on the fabric, and the hard surfaces and glass last so nothing settles back onto them. It finishes with a fresh floor mat and a wheel cover.
Mats out, personal items set aside. Anything you want kept, tell us and we leave it where it is.
Seats, rails, carpets, trunk. The work is in the edges and the seams rather than the flat areas where a vacuum reaches easily.
Shampoo and extraction on carpets and upholstery where they need it. This is what separates an interior detail from a tidy-up, and it is why it takes a couple of hours.
Dash, console, doors, vents, then all the glass. Glass goes last so anything kicked up during the rest of the job does not end up on it.
Every job finishes the same way. It should feel clean when you open the door, because that is the part people remember.
Three honest limits. Some stains have dyed the fabric rather than soiled it and will not come out. Tears, burns and worn bolsters we clean but do not reupholster. And a smell with a source soaked into the padding underneath needs that source removed first.
Questions
These are the questions that come up on the phone most often about interior detail, answered the way we would answer them if you called. If yours is not here, ring the number at the top and ask. We would rather tell you now than have you find out on the day.
The Interior Special is $149 flat, regardless of vehicle size. If you want the outside done at the same time, the interior and exterior special is $199. Both are one price with no size surcharge and nothing added afterwards. That price holds whether it is a sedan or a three-row SUV.
About two hours for most cars. Heavily soiled carpets, pet hair or a car that has not been cleaned in years take longer, and we tell you that when we see it rather than surprising you at the end. You do not need to be there for any of it.
Usually, because most smells live in the carpet and upholstery and come out with a deep clean and extraction. If something has soaked through into the padding underneath, a surface clean improves it rather than solving it, and we will say so up front.
Yes. Pet hair woven into fabric takes considerably longer than loose hair, so it is worth mentioning when you book so we can allow the time rather than running over. Vacuuming alone does not lift it, it has to be worked out of the weave first.
It helps but it is not required. If there are things you would rather we did not move, tell us and we work around them. We set personal items aside rather than throwing anything away. Loose change, receipts and cupholder debris we deal with as part of the job.
Yes, and it is one of the most common bookings we take. The car sits in the lot for about two hours and you get it back done. We just need to be able to get into it. Leave the keys at reception or the car unlocked, whichever your building allows.
Booking, payment and bad-weather questions are answered in the full FAQ. Anything specific to your vehicle, ask us directly and we will tell you whether this is the service you actually need.
These are the services customers most often add to this one, usually because the same appointment can cover both and the second costs less in time than booking it separately later. Each one is priced on its own, and we will tell you if adding it is not worth doing.
Anywhere inside the Houston metro, at your home or your office, because the whole setup travels. Pricing is by vehicle size rather than distance, so an address out toward the edge of the radius costs the same as one downtown. Pick your area below for what we see there.
Across the Houston metro. Same price everywhere inside the service area, because we charge by vehicle rather than by distance.
Tell us where the car is parked and we come to you. Packages from $149, most jobs about two hours.
